Swiss JAS decision delayed until August

Switzerland has postponed its decision on whether to buy the Swedish JAS Gripen jet fighter.

The security policy commission of the Swiss parliament believes there are ambiguities in the contract with Sweden, and has decided to hold a review of the 3 billion franc (SEK 21 billion) deal.

Discussion of the purchase of the 22 warplanes will resume in August.
