A thief who abandoned a man on the tracks of the Stockholm Metro is now wanted in France, suspected of stabbing and mortally wounding someone.

News of the Stockholm robbery spread around the world in the Autumn of 2012, which brought the man to the attention of people in France, who recognised him in connection to a stabbing outside Paris on New year's Eve 2011.

French authorities now want the thief handed over to them, after he completes his 1.5 year sentence for robbery in Sweden.
