Two Iraqis in Stockholm vote for the first time in their lives

30,000 Iraqis in Sweden Voted

Turnout for the Iraqi elections in Sweden was high, as almost 30,000 Iraqi’s living in here took part

More than 94 percent of those who registered cast their ballots.

The International Organisation for Migration expects to complete the counting of votes cast abroad by February 3rd. It then plans to send the results by February 5th to Iraq’s electoral commission which will then announce them as part of the overall result.
