Transport workers may strike
Long-haul truck drivers, dock workers, garbage workers and employees in security firms may take labor action beginning April 24, if employers and labor union cannot come to terms.
According to the Transport Workers newspaper, the action would also include a total strike at 23 delivery terminals that belong to DHL, Schenker and DSV.
Other labor actions that the union is threatening include overtime bans and new hiring.
At issue are salaries, the use of employment agencies, and certain types of alcohol tests that the union wants to ban.
