Abba's Björn apologises for Boston joke

Björn Ulvaeus joked about the Boston marathon bombings on the BBC's morning television on Tuesday. He says to tabloid Aftonbladet that he is "insanely unhappy" and "very sorry" that he made the comment.

On the BBC morning programme a presenter asked Ulvaeus his secret for staying young looking. He replied "Running is good. Unless you're in the Boston marathon." A presenter immediately leapt in to point out the seriousness of the recent bombings, and in the British press Ulvaeus was accused of being tasteless and insensitive.

Ulvaeus says to Aftonbladet that "The worst part is if there's someone who thinks I really intentionally joked about it, and thought it was funny."
