Abba museum admits charging entry fee for baby

A mother was surprised to be charged an entrance fee to take a baby in a sling into the new Abba museum. Now the head of the museum says that this was a mistake, although the museum is in the business of making Money Money Money.

“We only charge children who can walk,” says Mattias Hansson to newspaper Dagens Nyheter.

Most museums in Stockholm are free for children under six, but the head of the Abba museum says while "we are a commercial company" some of the 45 new receptionists had simply not understood the rules.

The museum has now changed its policy, and does not charge children under the age of three.
