Woody Allen set for Stockholm

For a long time there has been speculation about Woody Allen making a film in Stockholm. Now it seems to become reality after the necessary funds have been secured, according to tabloid Aftonbladet.

"We have been offered the money. Now it is up to me to find a good Stockholm story, " says Woody Allen but points out that it is not just about the money.

"I really want it to be a story and a film that all Stockholmers can be proud of".

The director is about to release his latest film "Blue Jasmin", a drama comedy starring Cate Blanchett and Alec Baldwin. It opens in Sweden on August 23.
