Moderates: Who Takes Power in 2006 an Open Question

Non-socialist MPs held their first joint meeting in parliament since 1994 on Tuesday evening.

In the Fall, the non-socialist parties announced their alliance and Tuesday was the beginning of their process to decide on a united platform. Central issues seen as stumbling blocks are how the parties will decide to address family politics, their stance on foreign aid and nuclear power.

2006 is an election year here in Sweden.
