Banking on smart phones takes off

An increasing number of Swedes do their bank business on their smart phones, rather than on laptops or stationary computers, according to Swedish Radio News.

All four of the country's largest banks report that more of their customers log-in on mobile phones to make transactions than on computers.

The shift in customer behaviour occurred quite recently for the bank SEB.

"We noticed that June was the first month ever when our customer were more active on their mobile phones than on computers," said Annika Falkengren, CEO of SEB.
