Police release last Umeå murder suspect
All men suspected of the murder of a woman at Umeå train station have been released, the last man left custody on Friday. The police say to news agency TT that "the prosecutor has decided that there are no longer grounds to hold him."
All the men are in their 20s, and a 21-year-old was held the longest, due to suspicions against him being more serious. They are still under investigation, but the police will not say whether the men are still murder suspects.
And police are still not able to rule out any connection between the deadly shooting at Umeå station, and shots fired at a house several kilometres to the north in Ersboda, also on Saturday morning.
