Germany wins Euro 2103 against Norway

Germany won the Women's Euro 2013 final, beating Norway 1-0 at the Friend's Arena in the Stockholm suburb of Solna. The only goal of the game was scored in the 49th minute by Anja Mittag, who had just subbed in for Lena Lotzen, shortly after the game resumed after half-time.

Sunday's win clinched Germany's sixth straight European Championship, having won in 2009 against England, in 2005 against Norway, in 2001 against Sweden, in 1997 against Italy, and in 1995 against Sweden.

The host country, Sweden, was knocked out by Germany in the semifinals earlier this week.
