Sjöström through to World Championship final

Swedish swimmer Sara Sjöström won the women's 100-metre butterfly semi-final at the FINA World Aquatics Championships in Barcelona Sunday, ensuring she will compete in the final on Monday evening.

Sjöström, a former world champion, was the fastest qualifier in 57.10, followed by Denmark’s Jeanette Ottesen Gray (57.19) and Australia’s Alicia Coutts (57.49).

Another Swedish competitor, Jennie Johansson, is performing today in the 100-metre breaststroke.
