Ingemar 'Ingo' Johansson collection for sale

Possessions once owned by Swedish world champion boxer Ingemar "Ingo" Johansson may soon be sold at auction.

Johansson reached the apex of his career when he claimed the World Championship title for heavyweights, after winning a bout with Floyd Patterson in New York in 1959.

For over 10 years the collection of Johansson's boxing artifacts have been shown at the Sports Museum in Gothenburg. But the collection may now be split up and sold because of a dispute over the legacy between his six children, local newspaper Göteborgs-Posten (GP) reports.
