Five weeks after the mysterious disappearance of a woman from Trollhättan in western Sweden, the body of the 23-year-old mother of two has been discovered in bushes in a wooded area near Grästorp. Police, who have launched a murder investigation, confirmed on Friday, that the body, which was discovered yesterday, had laid there for some time.

The cause of her death has not yet been determined. The woman's identity was confirmed with the help of her tattoos.

"Determining the cause of death is always critical in a murder investigation," Police detective Thord Haraldsson told Swedish Radio News.

The mother of two disappeared from her flat in Trollhättan on June 30th. Police found a large amount of blood in the flat.

A 35-year-old man is being held in police custody in Poland while two other men have been detained in Sweden.
