Friday Guest: Freed journalist Martin Schibbye

"I believe in turning something bad into something good."

Journalist Martin Schibbye, who spent 14 months in an Ethiopian jail before being pardoned and returning to Stockholm last year, is Saturday's guest presenter on Swedish Radio's "Sommar" programme.

The "Sommar" or "Summer" programme, broadcast on our sister network P1, gives hosts 90 minutes to talk about their lives and play music of their choice.

Radio Sweden's Brett Ascarelli speaks to Schibbye about his incarceration, and what it means for him to be on the show - a programme he and fellow prisoner, Swedish photographer Johan Persson, listened to in their cell in Ethiopia.
