Mangs says he wanted to provoke gang warfare

Convicted Swedish serial killer Peter Mangs says his goal was to provoke gang warfare in Malmö.

Mangs was sentenced to life imprisonment for two murders and eight attempted murders in 2009 and 2010. Most of his victims were of immigrant origin.

He now tells the newspaper Sydsvenskan that altogether he fired his gun at more than one hundred locations around Malmö, in a vain attempt to provoke rival gangs into attacking each other.
