Topless protest indictment "disorderly conduct"

Two members from the activist group Femen have been indicted for disorderly conduct after a topless demonstration at a Stockholm mosque.

The two activists, and a third woman, entered the mosque at the end of June, removed their upper clothing, revealing slogans like “No sharia” and “free women”.

One of the two women, Aliaa Elmadhy, told Radio Sweden afterwards they had staged the protest because “that mosque is run by the (Egyptian) Muslim Brotherhood".
