Annual harvest lower than last year

Despite this year's good weather, the corn harvest is expected to be 4 per cent lower this year, compared to last, Swedish Radio News reports. It is because of all the rain that fell in the autumn when several of the crops were sowed. But the regional differences are substantial, and on the island of Öland the harvest is expected to reach a new high.
