Gothenburg to build 200 m skyscraper

Gothenburg is planning to build the highest building in the Nordic countries. The building will be 200 metres high and contain 60 floors. Gothenburg city council will announce an architect competition to decide what it will look like.

The skyscraper shall contain flats as well as shops, and it should be finished in 2021 at the latest, when the town celebrates its 400th birthday. The building will be placed at Lindholmen on the central island of Hisingen.
