Helicopter crash south of Stockholm

A helicopter has crashed into Lake Tyresö-Flaten south of Stockholm, reported the TT news agency.

The two people who were in the helicopter were originally reported to be in the water, but are now on land and unhurt, Eva Nilsson of the Stockholm Police tells the newspaper Aftonbladet.

According to Frida Nyberg, the ranking police officer at the scene, the helicopter was going to take water samples, when it got too close to the lake surface.

Among the witnesses to the crash was a school class who were canoeing on the lake.
