The School Inspectorate has had its eye on Lundsberg for a while, as the school has long had a culture of bullying. The inspectorate has the power to close the school and will be visiting soon, according to Swedish Television News.
The teen was taken first to Central Hospital in Karlstad and then on to Örebro Univesity Hospital for treatment. His injuries are now said to be not serious.
The police have launched an investigation. According to Swedish Radio News altogether nine people at the school are under suspicion for involvement in what is being called aggravated assault.
