A Swedish soccer player watching his brother play for Brommapojkarna against Helsingborg had to have a police escort from the grounds Friday after death threats from rival fans.

Miiko Albornoz, who plays for Helsingborg's bitter local rivals Malmo FF in Sweden's Allsvenskan top league, was in the stands to watch his brother Mauricio score twice for Brommapojkarna in a 4-2 loss to Helsingborg, Reuters reports.

Convicted of having sex with a 14-year-old girl, Miiko Albornoz was subjected to abuse from Helsingborg fans when they noticed him in the stands.

In February, Albornoz received a probationary sentence for sexually abusing a minor, and was permitted to play soccer again in April.
