Sweden drops to 6th place in economic competitive rankings

Sweden has dropped two places in the latest economic competitive rankings from the World Economic Forum, TT news agency reported.

The World Economic Forum compared 148 countries on a range of factors that affect competitiveness. Although Sweden fell two places in this year's Global Competitiveness Report, the country was still described as one of the most productive and competitive economies in the world.

Sweden previously ranked fourth on the list in 2012 but dropped to sixth place, just below the United States. Finland, Sweden's neighbour to the east, ranked fourth this year.
