Central bank leaves interest rate unchanged

Sweden's Central Bank has decided not to raise Sweden's key interest rate. It will stay at one percent, Riksbanken announced Thursday morning.

The decision was expected by economists, as was its forecast that rates will stay at this level until at least the beginning of next year.

The Swedish Krona weakened slightly on the currency markets following the announcement, news agency TT reports.
