Drownings on the rise

Sixty people drowned in Sweden between June and August, according to the Swedish Lifesaving Association, 22 more than in the same period last year and the highest number for seven years.

Since the start of the year there have been 97 drownings, up from 72 last year.

The increase of drownings is believed to be linked to the unusually warm weather.
