Boarding school Lundsberg to re-open

2:42 min

Elite boarding school Lundsberg, which was closed last week by the Swedish School Inspectorate following allegations of bullying, has been allowed to re-open, Swedish Radio News reports.

The Swedish Administrative Court in Stockholm decided on Friday to allow the school to resume teaching, pending the verdict of a judicial process which will ultimately determine the future of the school.

The court ruled that the Inspectorate's temporary - but immediate - closure of the school had an unnecessarily harsh impact on students and staff.

Classes can resume as early as this Monday.

The closure was triggered by allegations that two pupils were burned with irons.
