Hope returns as basketball team beats Russia

Sweden has had a tough start at the men's European Basketball Championships, but after the crushing 81-62 victory against Russia on Saturday, there is still hope to qualify to the next level.

"I have never been this happy over a victory," 17 year-old player and point guard Ludwig Håkansson tells Swedish Radio Sports Department.

So far this year, Sweden hast lost the first two matches in Slovenia, against Greece and Finland.

In order to get to the next level of play-offs, Sweden will have to win against Turkey on Sunday, and Italy on Monday. The three best teams out of the six move up.
