Research in HIV AIDS has made some great strides, but there is still a long way to go. A dream team of more than 100 doctors and medical researchers gathered at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm to discuss the latest advances in the treatment of HIV - AIDS.

Great strides have been made since the disease was first discovered in the early 1980s, and today treatment is so effective that many people can live for years. But the treatment is costly and any affordable cure for the disease is still a long way away.
