Published fredag 13 september 2013 kl 15.33
"There weren't many black folks in Sweden"
(11 min)

Gloria Karlmark was one of the so-called Little Rock Nine, schoolgirls who had to be escorted to school by soldiers in order to break the racist segregation in the American Southern state of Arkansas.

After meeting a Swede in Chicago while studying, Gloria Karlmark moved to Sweden in 1969. She spoke to Radio Sweden about what Sweden was like back then, and about how it has changed. Reporter: Loukas Christodoulou
