UN weapons inspectors' report complete

The head of the UN chemical weapons team, Swede Åke Sellström, will hand over his team's report on Syria to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon this weekend, the AP news agency reports.

Speaking to AP in Stockholm by phone from the Netherlands, Sellström said he did not know when the report would be made public, and he did not comment on the report's conclusions.

Sellström's remit was to ascertain whether chemical weapons have been used in Syria, and not who was responsible for their use.
