Police give up attempt to catch arena bomber

Stockholm police are dropping their investigation into the bomb placed outside a football arena in June, reports Swedish Radio Stockholm. Police say they have no leads that can identify a suspect.

Police had sealed off the newly-opened Tele 2 Arena for two days in late June, after finding explosives in a cardboard box marked "bomb". The arena is shared by rival Stockholm football teams Hammarby and Djurgården. Both teams were warned they would be evicted if another such incident occurred.
