Human traffickers smuggled Syrians by bus
Three people have been arrested on human trafficking charges after a bus carrying over 20 asylum seekers was stopped at the Öresund bridge in southern Sweden.
The bus, which is registered in Italy, was stopped on Tuesday outside Malmö. There were 23 passengers onboard who claimed they had escaped from war-torn Syria.
"Some have been questioned by the police and more of them are to be questioned. The Swedish Migration Board has taken care of them," police spokeswoman Linda Pleym told news agency TT.
In late August a bus carrying 45 asylum seekers was stopped in Sweden.
