Right to roam harming the countryside

A countryside clean-up campaign has been launched alerting outdoor enthusiasts that Sweden's "right to roam" (Allmän rätt) includes the responsibility to protect the natural environment. The campaign has been organised by the organisation, Keep Sweden Tidy (Håll Sverige Rent), and has enlisted top sportsmen and women to remind people to tidy-up after themselves and follow the rules of the countryside.

It follows reports from private owners that their land is being damaged by people using their right to roam.

Radio Sweden speaks to one of the clean-up campaigners, adventurer Renata Chlumsky.
