Swedish Troops in Norway

Swedish troops rolled into neighboring Norway this weekend, 100 years after the Nordic neighbors stood at the brink of war over independence.  But this time they were invited.

About 14,000 soldiers, including some 700 Swedes, are taking part in the Battle Griffin exercise in central and northern Norway.

Forces are from NATO countries, and from partnership countries.

The exercise lasts until March 11.
