Comedians to host Melodifestivalen 2014

Popular comedians Anders Jansson and Nour El Refai have been chosen by Swedish Television, SVT, to present next year's Swedish song contest, Melodifestivalen.

Anders Jansson is most famous for the sketch show Hipp Hipp, and has also presented his own radio show on Swedish Radio's P4. Nour El Rafai was a sidekick in Melodifestivalen 2008, and has also presented the Musikhjälpen telethon, as well as appearing in several films and tv programmes.

Melodifestivalen is Sweden's biggest tv show, the final often gets over four million viewers, almost half the Swedish population.

The first semi-final takes place in Malmö on February 1st, with the grand final at Friends Arena in Stockholm on March 8th.
