Sweden will face off against Portugal Friday night in their first match of the 2014 World Cup play-offs.

The match will see two of the world's biggest players, Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo and Sweden's Zlatan Ibrahimovic, meet in Lisbon to vy for a spot in next year's games.

Swedish Radio News reports that Portugal is favored to win the two-legged qualifier as it fields three stars players from Real Madrid: Ronaldo, Pepe and Fábio Coentrão. Sweden, led by the team captain Ibrahimovic, will face its toughest test on defense.

No matter what the outcome, Sweden and Portugal will meet again next Tuesday at Friends Arena in Stockholm for the final game. The overall winner will get a spot in the World Cup next summer in Brazil.

Kick off begins at 8:45 p.m, Swedish time. The game will be broadcast live on the Swedish channel TV4.
