A protest against sexual violence is planned for Stockholm this weekend after a series of controversial rape cases have seen the accused walk away free.

In the latest case, a 27-year-old man was acquitted by a court in Lund despite admitting that his female victim said "no" repeatedly, according to news agency TT.

The case and its outcome has prompted the demonstration as well as calls from organizers for Sweden to reform its laws on consent.

"We are sending a message out to the community that it's not OK for women to get raped and for men to get away with it," said Sara Brännholm, one of the organizers.
