Arrest after newspaper bomb threat

Published söndag 26 januari 2014 kl 17.26

One person has been arrested and charged with making threats, after a suspected bomb was left at a newspaper office last week.

Newspaper GT in Gothenburg was evacuated, as well as the local TV4 office, while the bomb squad destroyed the package. Police described its contents as not a bomb, but of a threatening nature.

A local right-wing extremist leader claimed responsibility for the deed, saying they had sent a knife and a copy of the Koran to the newspaper, but police will not say who has been arrested.
