Holocaust Memorial Day focus on plight of Roma

"It is known, but not so well-known"
4:55 min

The International Holocaust Remembrance day is marked on the 27th of January every year, based on the date that the Auschwitz concentration camp was liberated in 1945. This year in Sweden, there is a special focus on the many Roma people who met the same destiny as the Jews in the death camps, as it is now 70 years since the so called Roma Extermination Day, when all remaining Roma prisoners at Auschwitz were liquidated.
