More traffic trouble in south

Trains have been cancelled and snow ploughs are out on the roads of southern Sweden again today, as snow and strong winds cause dangerous driving conditions.

Several accidents have already been reported in Skåne this morning, according to news agency TT, and parts of the E4 motorway were closed between Nyköping and Norrköping after a pile-up involving three trucks. The E18 between Västerås and Köping has also been closed due to black ice and treacherous driving conditions.

Some trains have been cancelled to give track workers time to clear the snow from the rails.
