Shrinking student apartments

The Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning is changing its recommendation regarding student housing size. Last summer they recommended student housing to be 20 square meters, now they say that 16-17 square meters is sufficient for the housing needs of students and youth.

The board is also to recommend more relaxed building rules for all residences that are smaller than 35 square meters in size, news agency TT reports.
