No gold for Sweden in bandy championship

Sweden's national bandy team made it to the finals in the World Bandy Championship but lost the last game against Russia in Irkutsk 3-2.

The Swedish team was off to a great start as Daniel Berlin scored their first goal on a corner only two minutes into the game. The joy however was short-lived as Russia equalised on a penalty shortly after.

Russia took the lead right before the end of the first half through Sergej Lomanov, but Sweden was not trailing for long as they scored 2-2 a few minutes into the second half.

Sweden then missed two penalties and Jevgenij Ivanusjkin's goal late in the second half sealed the win for Russia.
