Prosecutor drops probe into SD funding

Chief prosecutor Anders Jacobsson tells Swedish Radio News that he will not investigate further the accusations of irregularities in connection with the Sweden Democrats funding application for its women's association. He says there is no sign of any crime being committed.

Last week a former party secretary claimed that the women's association was created on paper with the simple aim of duping parliament into paying SEK 1.4 million in grants to offset a costly national election campaign.
