Sweden wins silver and bronze in Olympic sprint

Sweden won a silver and a bronze in the men's cross-country freestyle sprint in the Winter Olympics Tuesday.

During an eventful race, where some of the skiers crashed into each other and almost collapsed, Swede Teodor Petersen ended up winning the silver medal, just behind the winner Ola Vigen Hattestad from Norway.

Emil Jönsson, who collapsed over the line through exhaustion, won the bronze, close to 20 seconds behind the winner.

The third Swede in the final, Marcus Hellner, came last after being run over by two of the other competitors. He crossed the line with a broken ski after the incident.

In the women's freestyle sprint final Swede Ida Ingemarsdotter came fifth.
