Six Swedes have died from swine flu so far this flu season, and more fatalities could be on the way, news agency TT reports.

"This is the top of the iceberg", state epidemiologist Anders Tegnell told the agency.

There are currently several different types of influensa in circulation, the swine flu typically affects young people harder, while the seasonal flu tends to hit the elderly. All of those killed by the swine flu had other medical conditions.
