Janet Leon prepares for Melodifestival revenge

"I want to show everyone my voice and the message in the song"
10 min

The hunt to find Sweden's representative in this year's Eurovision Song Contest is well underway, and someone making another try this year is singer Janet Leon. She failed to make the final last year with her song, "Heartstrings", but next weekend she will be competing in the final semi-final in Örnsköldsvik with the song "Hollow".

Last year she faced technical difficulties in the run-up to the contest, as a complicated giant skirt caused problems. This year the song is slower, and she is concentrating on singing, rather than dancing, to emphasise the message in the song.

In today's Friday interview we speak to Janet about her Melodifestival preperations, what it was like starting in the music industry in her early teens, and how she ended up singing on Agnetha Fältskog's comeback album last year.
