Sweden's men's and women's curlers have secured their places in the Olympic semifinals after beating Russia on Sunday.

In the tenth and final round, Russia's women's team was in the lead with 4-3, but a last shot by Maria Prytz secured the Swedish women's 5-4 win as Prytz bumped a stone into the button for two points.

Margaretha Sigfridsson, Maria Wennerholm, Christina Bertrup and Maria Prytz have secured six out of eight possible wins ahead of the final round against Japan Monday.

On the men's side, the team beat Russia by 8-4 before going up against the United States.
