Women's curling team will go on to finals

The Swedish women's curling team beat in the seminfinals against Switzerland 7-5 on Wednesday, guaranteeing the Swedes a place in the finals, and a silver or a gold medal, at the Olympics in Sochi.

"We can go for it now," team captain Peja Lindholm told news agency TT. "The semifinals are mentally the toughest match."

Sweden will play Canada on Thursday afternoon.

Lindholm says, "We've got a chance. There are weaknesses in their game, even though they've won everything so far."
