Canadian referee officiate Sweden's hockey final against Canada

Sweden's Tre Kronor is up against Canada for the Olympic gold in men's hockey on Sunday, and the crucial game will be officiated by three Canadians, news agency TT reports.

The decision that Kelly Sutherland will be the referee in the hockey finals came late Friday evening and has sparked outrage in Sweden. Former professional hockey player Peter Forsberg writes to tabloid Aftonbladet that the decision "is a joke". The referee will officiate the game together with two Canadian linesmen.
