Huge crowd causes chaos at job centre

A job centre in central Stockholm has been inundated with thousands of unemployed, all called to a meeting by mistake, tabloid Aftonbladet reports.

The invitation for the recruitment fair was meant to have been sent out to 1400 people, but instead 61,000 are thought to have received the mail. Some of them then turned up for the meeting, meaning huge queues and chaos ensued.

The recruitment meeting had to be closed due to the amount of visitors.
